Scotland & the North Trips Info

We start collections for delivery to Scotland or The North along the South during Weds. We drive up to Scotland or The North, starting at  7am on the the Thurs morning, allowing for delivery of all Fish. Some livestock may be delivered the same evening, or depending on time, on the Friday morning. For Scotland, we are at Glenrothes up until 8am, for collections of goods by customers from ourseves, or they will be left at an address which will be disclosed if needed. 

Carriage of goods on the return trip from Scotland will be collected Friday and delivered either Friday, or again, depending on time, on the Saturday.

Live goods get delivered first, before all standing goods.

We do a North run twice a month for anything we cant fit into the Scotland trip.

Please remember......

We are not your normal 9 - 5 Couriers like the old Amtrak, Littlewoods or TNT. We frequently deliver out of hours, for no extra unsociable hours  payment, as with live goods on board, they must be delivered before all standing items, such as tanks & other equipment. Very often, nights are spent in the van with the animals,  hence we do early mornings and late evenings with prior arrangement with the customer.

All delivery times are approximate and are subject to alteration by  any, unknown variables, that we have NO control over, such as rush hour, congestion, lane closures, diversions, weather etc . We endeavour to collect and deliver fish same-day up to midnight. (If any later we will call and let you know) Trying to pin delivery down to within an hour or two is frustrating for us if we have delays and obviously, you the customer start worrying about where your live goods are, which is the last thing we want. Therefore we request that if you are having a live delivery, you should make yourself available for delivery for the whole day and have a suitable number we can contact you on. Contact will be made  from the last delivery postcode, or at least 1 hour before collection and 1 hour before delivery.
